Reading an article in GQ today, i learned A LOT about The Lauren family and the business. David Lauren is the only son of three children involved in the business today and he has been truely innovative and always bringing fresh ideas to the company. One 'stunt' that was visually spectactular and even described as 4D because of the Ralph Lauren signature fragrance being sprayed throughout the crowd, really wow'ed me. simple really not too tight, not too small, nor should you wear board shorts (unless you are a surfer). you should be wearing them, and not them wearing you - they should complement your assets rather than show all. Daniel Craig trunk short - NO, Edwardian holiday maker - NO, speedos - NO. instead opt for a short but not too short, nor tight, swim short from preferably a traditional brand. think ralph lauren, paul smith, sundek, vilebrequin etc. see mr porter.

for me, i will be looking no further than  paul smith (the last two images).
