championed by the cinematic orchestra, grey reverend digitally releases his first single this week on ninja tune. so the story goes, grey reverend approached the cinematic orchestra's jason swinscoe in new york a while back & the two have been working together since. although not a direct link to the sound of the cinematic orchestra, grey reverend's sound is more simple & thoughtful. his debut album is due for release in june, in the mean time you can download a few tracks from ninja tune.
