Breaking news - just got the beard groomed. Kept the length, but with a photo shoot friday looming ever closer I felt it was the right time to even up the growth.
For whatever reason my beard grows longer on my chin, and less thick on the sides. Also, I have refrained from cutting it at all (other than lining in the shape of my jawline (but underneath); being afraid of creating a Craig David effect. Feeling good!
Tips acquired from my growth path so far:
- If in doubt don't trim (opt for visiting a sound male grooming establishment, they are trained to do it for you, rather than you ruining your valiant efforts).
- Shampoo, condition, and moisturise often. It is hair just like that on your head and it requires the same treatment to maintain cleanliness, and optimize its aesthetic.
Hopefully this means more even growth from this point onwards. Thats all for now.
