when word got out that ski beatz was working on his debut lp i was rather excited. having produced tracks on jay-z's 'reasonable doubt' & producing albums for camp lo his cv is pretty respectable. then the tracks started to leak & my anticipation only grew. unfortunately following a mix up with mos def the final album left a lot to be disired. its a shame that a project that showed so much promise when its first details were released has ended up as a some what below par final product.
