Founding member of the Beastie Boys, Adam Yauch otherwise known as MCA, died today at the age of 47. Along with Mike D & Ad Roc, MCA formed part of the ground breaking group who gained critical acclaim with their 1986 album License To Ill & more recently were inducted to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Yauch announced in 2009 that he was suffering with a cancerous parotid gland & as a result the bands tour was scrapped & latest album delayed. Above is a stream to, in my opinion, the Beastie's finest work, although 2007's The Mix-Up is closely behind.
