the roots teamed up with
nas to headline their 4th annual
roots picnic in philadelphia. their set ran through the history of their catalogue, including classics such as
proceed,
quills,
concerto of the desperado & of course
the seed 2.0, their set also included a timely
gil scott-heron cover. meanwhile, halfway through the set
nas joined 'the legendary' on stage adding a few classics of his own:

the roots also teamed up with grammy winner jazz musician
