The first solo-release by the talented Jamie XX. "Far Nearer" is the happier and more upbeat of the two with the sound of trinadian drums running hard throughout and his usual high-class samples. The b-side to this release is "Beat For" and has more of an XX feel to it. Darker beats, slower tempo, but still with the same high-class samples. A very nice release by Jamie. LazyK
