It's heating up and summer is right around the corner and once the party has calmed down or your just chilling out, you need some summer acoustics, so here are a couple of my favourite artists to wind down to.
First up are Mirah and Thao, two solo artists come together to create something different. The album has a blend of moving acoustics with soft vocals and interesting, light beats with the two artists playing off each other. From the self titled album Thao and Mirah, my tips are Little Cup and How Dare You.
Next up is a particular favourite of mine with his third album. William Fitzsimmons is a very strange looking chap with considerably more hair on his chin than his head. His new album Gold In The Shadow has a very calming feel throughout, with soft, quiet vocals to match beautifully put together piano and guitar acoustics. My tips from his latest album are Beautiful Girl and Let You Break (Feat Julia Stone).
