first up we have the latest release from SCB who i'm sure is better known under his Scuba moniker.

the first half of the video is a catchy house melody with an indecipherable vocal sample. "Loss" seems like a big direction change for Paul Rose and what i've heard from him when he goes to work as Scuba.  the second half of the video, "Future Unknown", is the flipside and is yet another character change.  this time putting on his techno suit and shoes and delivering a bassy techno gem that i've heard a rumour is going to be will and kates first dance...

next up we have jori hulkkonen and his latest release on turbo records, "S.W.O.T".  the whole EP is definitely a keeper and pretty fresh for someone whos first release was over 15 years ago making him a bruce forsythe of techno. i'm pretty sure jori got the inspiration for my favourite track, "Strengths", from the sega megadrive game, golden axe.

lastly, surprise of the century award goes to calvin harris with his latest effort "awooga" which i can't wait to hear every single day on the radio in the summer... sarcaSAM
