originals by kazuki kuraishi spring/summer '11 exclusive launch night. the collection has developed into one of the most anticipated and sought after from adidas. the influence of kazuki's mother land (tokyo) is crystal clear, whilst it incorporates an ian brown shoe design, off the back of his part in the look book.

accompanied by Drew, we both favoured a few of the shoe designs - notably the 'plants kzk' design (see below) & the 'kzk jam home made eyelet' (featuring defining touches from japanese jewellers 'jam home made' on the classic stan smith, see below). i particularly liked the outerwear aspect of the collection, favouring the striped cagool (see below).

final word tokyo street wear with an outdoorish influence. kazuki's (and Japan's) fondness for baseball is evident, whilst his contemporary takes on classic shoes and street wear pieces has been timed well in line with the current trends. i expect these to go quick. click on the end clothing link on the right of notinabox. a big thanks to them for the invite. JACques.
