music today is encouraging us to NOT put ourselves IN Any kind of BOX. i got into bon iver back in 2008 with the release of 'for emma, forever ago'. hipPOPguru queried my fondness for a bit of folk. almost putting himself in a hip pop box. this year he was forced to eat his words when kanye (his hero) released 'my beautiful dark twisted fantasy' which featured a song with none other than bon ivor, titled 'lost in the world' (above). a re-work of bon iver's 'woods'. kanye is clearly NotInaBox. hipPOPguru has now ripped the selotape off his, & is half way out.
